Pick your season
Each module covers one time of year, and you can run all three.

How the Halloween season runs
All dates follow the timezone set for your bot.
Oct 1 to Oct 31
Event is live
/trickortreat, pumpkins, /spook, the shop and the live leaderboard all work.
Oct 31
Double candy
Candy from /trickortreat and pumpkins is doubled, and the countdown channel gets its own name.
Nov 1 to Nov 7
Shop stays open
Earning is over and the closing announcement with the final standings is posted. The candy shop is still open.
Nov 8
Season reset
All candy, purchases and the haunted role are removed automatically.
Nov 8 to Sep 30
Off-season
Every command answers with a countdown to the next Halloween.
Advent calendar and Christmas countdown
Winter Holidays adds an advent calendar with 24 doors and a channel that counts down to Christmas. The calendar is made for December, and you write the message behind every door.

Easter egg hunt
Hunt the Code lets you hide codes around your server and your website, and members redeem the ones they find. Run it as an Easter egg hunt, or as any other hunt you can think of.
Illustration only - actual interface and behavior may differ
Hunt the Code does not hide the codes for you and has no built-in prizes. You place the eggs and decide the rewards, and the report shows who found what.
Make it your own
All three modules let you change what your members see and what they can win.
Your wording
Halloween messages take plain text or a full embed, Hunt the Code has messages for found codes, profiles and the leaderboard, and every advent door has its own message.
Your rewards
Shop items can give a role or be a custom reward your team fulfils, hunters get the prizes you decide, and advent doors can hand out roles each day and after all 24.
Your look
Set the title, color, thumbnail and image of the leaderboards, and pick an emoji for each advent button.
Your pace
Tune treat and jackpot chances, pumpkin timing and the odds of a spook, and decide yourself when a hunt ends.
Set up in a few steps
Every module lists its steps in the docs. Here is the short version.
Halloween Event
- 1Enable the module
- 2Set your channels and roles, for example the pumpkin channels and a leaderboard channel
- 3Add items to the candy shop
- 4Check the bot's permissions. Everything else works with the defaults
Bot permissions: View Channel, Send Messages and Embed Links where the bot posts, Manage Channels for the countdown, and Manage Roles for the haunted and shop roles.
Winter Holidays
- 1Enable the module and switch on the advent calendar and the countdown you want
- 2Create an empty text channel for the calendar and a voice channel or category for the countdown
- 3Write the messages for the 24 doors and add role rewards if you like
Bot permissions: Manage Channels for the countdown, and Send Messages, Read Message History and Manage Messages in the calendar channel. The bot's role must sit above the reward roles.
Hunt the Code
- 1Limit /hunt-the-code-admin to your moderators in the slash command permissions
- 2Create codes with /hunt-the-code-admin create-code
- 3Hide the codes in channel descriptions, images or on a page outside Discord
Bot permissions: The admin commands need the Manage Messages permission.
