Public support that answers everyone at once

Forum Support turns a public Discord forum channel into a structured support queue. Members open threads in the open, AI can answer common questions first, and your team claims and resolves the rest from a shared queue - so every answer doubles as a searchable, self-serve knowledge base for your whole community.

How it works

From a forum post to a solved thread

Every new post in your forum channel becomes a tracked support thread that moves through a clear, automated lifecycle - and the answer stays public for everyone who follows.

1

Member posts a thread

A member opens a post in your public forum channel. The bot greets them with a pinned welcome and creates a ticket.

2

AI takes a first pass

If enabled, AI tries to answer instantly. The member taps "solved" to close it, or "I need a human" to escalate.

3

Staff claims from the queue

Unanswered threads land in a shared staff queue. A team member claims one with a click or /forum next and helps in the open.

4

Resolved - and still public

The thread is marked solved, tagged and closed, but the conversation stays visible so the next person finds the answer themselves.

Self-serve knowledge base

Answers that help everyone, not just the asker

Because Forum Support runs in public Discord forum threads, every resolved question becomes a permanent, searchable answer. Members read along, find existing threads before posting, and answer each other - so the same question stops landing in your queue over and over.

Threads and answers are publicly visible to your whole server
Members can search and reuse past answers before opening a new thread
Each solved thread quietly deflects future repeat questions

Shared staff queueAI summary on claim

One shared queue your whole team works from

A live queue panel in a channel of your choice shows every open thread grouped into unclaimed, in progress and handed back. Staff claim a thread so no two people work the same one, step away to hand it back, or grab the next with one click. When they claim, an optional AI summary catches them up instantly.

AI auto-answer

Let AI resolve the repeat questions first

Forum Support can post an AI first response on every new thread, then ask the member whether it helped. "Yes, solved" closes the thread automatically; "No, I need a human" hands it to your team - so staff only ever see the questions AI couldn't handle.

Instant first response

AI answers common questions the moment a thread opens, before a human is involved.

Did this help?

The asker confirms or escalates with one tap - solved threads close themselves.

My slash commands aren't showing up in the server. What's going on?

This usually means the bot is missing the Use Application Commands permission, or commands haven't synced yet. Re-inviting the bot with the correct scope fixes it in most cases.

Routing & SLAs

Smart routing and automatic housekeeping

Map your forum tags to topics, push urgent threads to the front, keep threads on-topic, and close out the ones that have gone quiet - all on autopilot.

Tag-based topics

Map Discord forum tags to topics with their own welcome message, priority and role requirements.

Priority tags

Bump threads to the front of the queue by forum tag or the asker's roles - perfect for customers and partners.

Write restriction

Optionally delete replies from anyone except the original poster and staff, keeping each thread clean and focused.

SLA auto-close

Nudge inactive threads with a pre-close notice, then auto-close them - optionally only during opening hours.

Why Forum Support

Built for public, scalable support

Forum Support brings the structure of a ticket system to a public forum - so you handle more questions with less effort while building a knowledge base as you go.

Public by design

Answers stay visible to your whole community, turning every resolved thread into reusable self-serve documentation.

Structured queue

Shared queue panel, claiming and statuses keep your team coordinated so threads never fall through the cracks.

AI deflection

AI answers repeat questions first, cutting the volume that ever reaches your staff.

SLAs that work for you

Reminders, estimated wait times and auto-close keep threads moving without manual chasing.

Estimated wait time

Adaptive ETAs based on recent resolution times set member expectations automatically.

Transcripts & analytics

Every thread is logged with a transcript and feeds response times, deflection rates and ratings into analytics.

Made for communities that answer in the open

Wherever the same questions come up again and again, a public support forum pays for itself.

Open-source project support

Let users ask in the open so maintainers answer once and everyone benefits - with AI handling the common setup and install questions.

Game & community help forum

Run a public help forum where members and staff answer together, urgent threads jump the queue, and quiet ones close themselves.

Product Q&A

Give customers a searchable Q&A forum with priority tags for paying users and a growing library of answered questions.

Reminders & notifications

Ping your team when a new thread opens and nudge unclaimed or unanswered threads automatically.

Estimated wait time

Post an adaptive ETA in each thread so members know what to expect.

Multiple forum channels

Run several support forums at once, each with its own rules, topics and messages.

Frequently Asked Questions

Forum Support is an early-access preview that is still rolling out gradually. While in preview it is enabled for a limited set of servers so we can gather feedback before a wider release. Your SCNX plan is separate and unaffected.

Modmail and the ticket system handle private, one-to-one support. Forum Support runs in public Discord forum threads where the whole community can read along - so it's built for open, self-serve support where answers help everyone. You can run all of them side by side.

Yes - that's the point. Threads live in a normal public Discord forum channel, so every question and answer stays visible and searchable. If you'd rather keep a thread to the original poster and staff only, you can turn on write restriction.

If AI is available for your server, Forum Support can post an AI first response on every new thread with "did this help?" buttons. The asker confirms to close it or escalates to your team - so staff only handle what AI couldn't.

SLA auto-close sends a pre-close notice after a period of inactivity, then closes the thread if there's still no reply. You can limit reminders to your opening hours so your team isn't pinged overnight.
